Scenes from a Hershey Snowfall

We had a Hershey snowfall today, so I wanted to drop a few photos to show what we did.

First, we took some photos of the backyard. I have several years of photos of the backyard, and except for the height of the trees and the shrubs, there’s no difference among them.

This one is a little artistic. It was taken with the Nikon Coolpix B500, my replacement for the PowerShot A610 that I’ve had for years.

The perfect photo for a high school’s literary magazine.

The lettuce poking through the sidewalk were dusted with snow as well.

Pixies got to see a little snowfall scaled for them.

Ivan and Olga (a.k.a. Miss Nibbs) got a change to experience the joy of winter. Ivan especially deserves this. He’s been getting me up at 5:30 a.m. with his meowing and persistent demands to be let outside.

The snow was fun, and best of all, it never stuck to the streets and melted off everywhere else by evening.

And then it was back to work.
