I’m still trying to get a handle on the business side of things, so this year, in addition to the year-at-a-glance wall calendar in the kitchen/dining room, I bought one for my own use and put it up in the office.
Hated to give up half of the bulletin board space (we’d installed homasote and painted it white to match the rest of the room) but I literally had nowhere else to put it.
Now to start filling it in with the events Peschel Press will be at: the Art on Chocolate event in Hershey, the Winter Arts Show and a few other things. Then I’ll plot out the books that are scheduled to appear in 2016 and figure out from there how much I need to do every day to get there. Having it up on the wall will give me a good idea of where I am and what I need to do to accomplish my goals. It keeps me honest.
I wonder if any of you are planning to do something different for the new year. A new notebook? An organizing system? A bottle of wine to celebrate a new book?
