In which I put on my author skin and play amongst the books

I took the day off today. The Cupboard Maker Books, a great used-book store on Routes 11/15 in Enola, asked me to come talk to their mystery book club tonight (4/3) at 7 p.m. about Dorothy L. Sayers and “The Complete, Annotated Whose Body?”

If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend it. The site, south of Interstate 81, is opposite the train yards, so it looks from the outside like a warehouse or garage.

But inside: books!

And cats!

And more books! Notice the ramps? Reminds one of “The Cats’ House” in San Diego. (If you’re going there, click on “Play” in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen to start the slide show).

I’ve done about a half-dozen of these events so far, and apart from the incipient stage fright, have always had a great time, so I’m looking forward to going out and meeting mystery fans and talking about naked bodies in bathtubs, post-World War I England, the origins of Lord Peter Wimsey and whatever else might happen.
